Youtube Story: The Love of a Brave Tennessee Mom for her Blind Baby Boy

Lacey Buchanan is a beautiful mom inside and out. She kinda looks like Amanda Seyfried and a young Laura Linney on the youtube video. I think she is such a brave and strong mother for making the video, you can see the tears in her eyes as she talks about her baby Christian Buchanan.



This is Lacey's appeal for her son, for random people to be more accepting of children born with genetic conditions. You can see how emotionally powerful and real her pain is. But what's amazing is that you can also feel the overwhelming love she has for her son. She has my respect. I wish the world had more moms like her, she fought for her baby to live and now Christian is her joy. They are both lucky to have each other. And for me, she and Christian are inspiring, there should be more kindness out there for everyone.

This is Mommy Lacey and Christian's video. Christian Buchanan has Pierre Robin syndrome, a congenital defect of the severe kind, a chromosomal defect that causes facial deformities like having a tessier cleft lip palate. As a result of Pierre Robin syndrome, Christian is also born without eyes.





And those heartless people who ever said bad things about her and baby, there's a special place in hell for you :p but that's just me being angry!



Mommy Lacey has only kind words and a big smile- as you can see in her video, she and Christian have made tons of friends on Facebook. Christian may not have Lacey's eyes, but he sure has her big smile. And I'm sure her BIG heart as well!
